  • Salvation Testimony:  I accepted Christ under the Ministry of Henry & Nancy Mantonya through a friend of the family who would always invite me to hear the Gospel of Christ by the Missionary Henry Mantonya, known to us as Pastor Henrique. After a year of listing to the Gospel I finally surrendered my Life to Christ and was Baptized and have been daily following Him since.

  • Salvation Testimony: I accepted Jesus Christ as the Savior of my soul on November 26, 1987 with my professor during Personal Evangelism Class at Baptist Bible College East in Boston MA, while completing my senior year of high school through the self-study curriculum material known as "Paces". The following Sunday night, on the 29th, I was baptized by Pastor Ervin Burk at Tri-City Baptist Church, of which I was a member while in Bible School. I married on January 6, 1991 (errata January 4, 1991) at Cherry Street Baptist Church em Springfield, MO while studying at Baptist Bible College also in Springfield MO. Five years later I graduated in Missions at Louisiana Baptist University. After serving internship at Baptist Temple in Waskom Texas under Pastor Roy Wallace I was commissioned into missionary service and after being approved through the Baptist Bible Fellowship International Missionary Candidate School I set out to raise support and three years later I was on the Mission Field fully supported as BBFI Missionary.  
     

  • Though I had accepted Christ as Savior of my Soul many years earlier I was still LORD of my own life.Support was good, Ministry was successful, doing what I was raised and trained to do in my own knowledge and in my own strength, doing the ministry “my way”.
     

  • Organizing two Churches in two years; self governed, self sustaining and self propagating still in existence to this day. Due to excessive pride and arrogance I soon shipwrecked and was humbled by sin.
    I separated from my wife on January 31, 2003 divorcing on December 9, 2005. I remarried on February 1, 2006 serving as an English Teacher for three years, then as a GE 7EA GAS TURBINE Specialist for five years at a local power plant in Porto Velho Rondônia Brazil.  
     

  • After eight years of struggling with the Lord´s continual work and being under excruciating conviction of my sin, I finally heart brokenly fully surrendered my heart, soul, mind, ambitions and desires to Christ Jesus as Lord of all in me. 
     

  • By HIS loving cords, faithfulness, grace and mercy, and learning to daily to deny myself, pickup my cross and to follow The Lord Jesus Christ; learning to live in Christ and allow Christ to live in me; only by HIS grace and mercy have we been serving HIM at Primeira Igreja Batista de Calama since September 9, 2014 starting the Calama River Ministry in the region of Calama, Rondônia, Brazil, humbly sharing reconciliation in Christ Jesus to as many receive Him, believing on His Name to become the sons of God and produce fruit worthy of repentance in self denial learning to be wise in winning souls to Christ Jesus.

Calling, Goals & Relationship with God:

 

Calling: As an adolescent I understood that God loved mankind and provided salvation to all who believe. There was never any question as to what I should do with what the Lord had given me in being raised in the culture, language and ministry of bringing the lost to Christ. But it wasn't until later in my life that the Lord called me and taught me what it is to personally serve Him as described in my Salvation Testimony.

 

Goals: In obedience to the Lord´s Great Commission and as an individual member of His Body, our goal on the Missionary Field is to 1.) Bring the Jungle River People to the Saving Knowledge in New Birth in Christ Jesus; 2.) Baptize those who gladly receive the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives; 3.) Teach all that the Lord Christ Jesus has laid out for the Members of His Body to do until His Return. In addition, our goals include manual labor in Building Churches, Floating Churches, River to Church Wooden Staircases and Church Boat Docks to load and unload visitors and Church members; among other Jungle River Related tasks.

 

Relationship with God:

Being raised as a 2nd Generation missionary my church background in all of its activities included and not limited to: 1.) individual care, prayer and ministry for those who made up the body of Christ; 2.) Administrative and Logistical decisions of the Church´s collective outreach as a Body to win others unto Salvation and Lordship of Christ; 3.) Teaching others the ministry of Soul-winning, Baptizing and all Christ has commanded; 4.) Planting and Building Churches etc…

 

“Trained” to do everything, I practically lived on automatic “serving” God. But my intimate personal relationship with God only began in the last decade, where although I sought Him for the results I wanted in relation to missionary work. I had never taken time for just the two of us, without any demands, urgencies, requirements, needs, etc. Today we have 8 moments together daily in His Word, in Prayer and a continuous tranquility of just being in each other's presence in SPIRIT and in TRUTH.

Calama River Ministry and Social Media has been the focus of how and where we invest our Spiritual Gifts. 

Our Jungle River Ministry is very intense. In addition to our regular weekly Sunday Morning, Sunday, Wednesday & Saturday Night services, every last 2 weeks of the month we take the Gospel of Christ to nearby villages.

  3. MAI – Maici - Next to Last Sunday of the month 

  4. CAL – Calama - Last Friday of the month (Open Air Services)

Laborers are very few & many other river villages are without continual presentation of the Gospel of Christ.

Please encourage others to the mission field and as you pray, say  "Here am I Lord, send, send Me!”

 

WE NEED God´s Power, Man Power, and Financial Power.  If you can't come or send laborers, show proof of your love supporting with finances and prayers. Finances to reach the unsaved and Prayers to bring the unsaved 6 unto Redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
